About Collectboard
Collectboard is a free place to save articles and videos you want to come back to. Each save keeps its picture, title and source, and search finds it again from any word you remember. It's made by Taro Ventures, LLC, a small independent company.
How we make the reading lists
Each reading list gathers free guides, courses, articles and videos on one subject, in the order a beginner should use them. We make them with AI tools and automated checks, and we're upfront about that:
- We pick subjects people search for and write a brief: who the list is for and what it should cover.
- Web searches gather candidate pages. Each one is fetched and read. Broken pages are dropped, and paywalled or thin ones are flagged so they're only used when nothing free does the job.
- An AI model chooses the best 8 to 15, puts them in the order a beginner should use them, and writes the list's introduction. Each item is shown with its own title and the description its publisher wrote, or a short summary of the page when it has none.
- Automated checks confirm every link loads and the list draws on a range of sources.
A list that passes those checks is published automatically; anything that doesn't waits for a person. Lists on money and health are always read by a person before they're published. Lists marked Reviewed by the Collectboard team were read and approved by a person; lists marked Compiled by Collectboard passed the automated checks above.
No one pays to be included, and links go straight to the source. If you spot a broken link, a mistake or a resource we should add, email hello@collectboard.com and we'll fix it.
